Enter symbols and alternate characters
On the onscreen keyboard, do one of the following:
- To enter a symbol shown on a number key: Tap Shift, and then the key.
- To enter a symbol from the symbol keyboard: Tap +=[], and then a symbol. Tap ABC to go back.
- To enter a number or symbol: Tap 123, and then the key. Tap ABC to go back.
- To enter an accented letter or another alternate character: Tap and hold a key, and then tap a character in the row that appears.
Not all keys have alternate characters.
Checked against the LuneOS code and installed apps. Nobody has tried these steps by hand yet, so tell us if something differs.
