Connect to a computer with USB

Copy files

1. Connect your device to the computer with a USB cable.
2. Open USB > Connect as media device. The button works only while a computer is connected.

Cable and Mode show what's happening. Mode shows Media transfer while the computer can see your files, and Charging when it can't.

Your device stops sharing files when the computer ejects it or you unplug the cable. For more, see Copy files between your device and your computer.

Share your internet connection

Under Also over the cable, tap USB Tethering. Then see Use tethering.

Use developer tools

Under Also over the cable, tap USB Debugging. This opens Developer Mode.
