Read about the artist

This isn't in every copy of Music. It needs an internet connection.

1. Open Now Playing and tap the About the artist button.
2. To go back to the cover, tap the button again.

You see what Wikipedia, Wikidata and Deezer's public catalogue have on the artist, and the artist's songs in your library. Music sends them the artist's name, and you need no account.

To turn this off, open the Menu > Preferences and turn off Look up artists online.
