Connect to a new secure Wi-Fi network

1. Open Wi-Fi.
2. Make sure Wi-Fi is on (learn how).
3. Under Choose a network, tap the network name. Secure networks have a padlock beside their name.
4. Enter the passphrase, and the username if the network asks for one. To see what you type, tap Show passphrase.
5. Tap Connect.

While the device connects, connecting... appears next to the network name. A check mark appears when it is connected.
