Create a secure hotspot

This page is for devices with calls and mobile data.

  1. Open Tethering.
  2. Under Wi-Fi Hotspot, enter a Name for your hotspot.
  3. Enter a Password of at least 8 characters.
  4. Turn on Share over Wi-Fi.
  5. On the other device, such as your laptop, use its Wi-Fi settings to join the hotspot and enter the password.

Checked against the LuneOS code and installed apps. Nobody has tried these steps by hand yet, so tell us if something differs.
