Customize the map view

1. Open Maps.
2. Tap the handle at the lower left of the screen to open the panel. The buttons along its top are Map Type, Layers, Places, Directions, Settings and About.
3. Do any of the following: - To change the map: Tap Map Type > OpenStreetMap, Humanitarian, OpenTopoMap or CyclOSM. - To add an overlay: Tap Layers > turn Transit or Bike on or off. - To change the map provider: Tap Settings > Map engine. The app reloads. With Google Maps you also get other map types, Traffic and public transport routes. - To change the distance units: Tap Settings > Units.
4. Tap Close.

To mark a spot on the map, tap and hold it. A pin drops there; tap it to use it like any other place.

To clear the map, tap the cross beside the search box.
