Open a document
Documents reads Word (.docx), Excel (.xlsx, .xls), PowerPoint (.pptx), OpenDocument (.odt, .ods, .odp), CSV, plain text and Markdown files.
- Open Documents. It lists every document in your internal storage, with the recent ones first.
- To narrow the list, tap Text, Sheets or Slides, or type in Search.
- Tap a document.
To go back to the list, use the back gesture.
If a new document isn't listed, open the Menu and tap Look for Documents Again. To add documents from a computer, see Copy files between your device and your computer.
Older .doc, .ppt and .rtf files open only on devices with LibreOffice's service, which isn't installed on every device. PDF files open in PDF Viewer.
Checked against the LuneOS code and installed apps. Nobody has tried these steps by hand yet, so tell us if something differs.
