Set an alarm

Before You Begin

Make sure sound is on and you can hear it. If you want alarms to sound while sound is muted, make sure When Sounds is Muted is set to Play Alarm Sound (learn how).

1. Open Clock.
2. Tap the alarm icon at the bottom of the screen > New Alarm.
3. Do the following:

Enabled: Tap On/Off.

Alarm Name: Enter a name for the alarm.

Occurs: Tap the current setting > Once, Daily, Weekdays, or Weekends.

Time: Tap to set the hour and minute for the alarm.

Sound: Tap to choose the sound. The default is Alert. 4. Tap Done.

When an alarm sounds on your device, tap Dismiss to stop it or Snooze to have it sound again. The default snooze duration is 10 minutes, but you can change this to 5, 15, or 20 minutes (learn how).
