Create an event

  1. Open Calendar.
  2. Tap New event. Or, in Day view, go to the day you want (learn how) and tap a blank time slot.
  3. Tap Event Name > enter the event name.
  4. Tap the calendar name below Event Location > tap the calendar you want to use for this event.

If a calendar doesn't appear in the list, you can't add events to it from your device. 5. Under From and To, tap the start and finish dates and times for the event. 6. Tap Done.

To use Just Type to create an event: In Card view, tap Just type... > start typing the event text. Under Quick Actions, tap New Event (tap More... if you don't see it). Calendar opens at a new event, with the text you entered in the event name.

If you add an event to one of your online calendars, the event is also synchronized to your provider's server. If you add the event to your LuneOS calendar, it stays on your device.

Checked against the LuneOS code and installed apps. Nobody has tried these steps by hand yet, so tell us if something differs.
