Turn Backup on or off

  1. Open Backup.
  2. Do one of the following: - To turn backup on: Tap OFF. - To turn backup off and erase your backups: Tap ON > Turn Off and Erase. This erases the backups stored on your device. It does not affect your other information. To leave Backup on, tap Keep Backup On instead. - To delete one backup: Tap Manage backups > tap the backup > Delete This Backup > Delete.

Checked against the LuneOS code and installed apps. Nobody has tried these steps by hand yet, so tell us if something differs.
